Screendoors and Submarines

Many real estate agents are dreamers. I am, for sure. I can conjure up the wildest of fantasies ranging from fame and fortune to world peace. Dreaming is a good thing. In fact, dreaming is a required thing. It’s just not the only thing. As Rich Mullins says in the song Screen Door, dreaming without action is “as useless as a screen door on a submarine.”

Rather than mooning over possibilities today, take action. Do ONE thing. Then, do it again tomorrow. You will find that your dreams take on a new life. Frustration and scarcity will be replaced with strategy and abundance. These are the good works that we are all called to do.
